It’s obvious that everyone wants to earn money, however, if you are not an adult, it can be a hectic chore. BUT, how can kids earn money as a teenager or even a kid? I’m going to be honest, I pondered upon the same question!
Being an entrepreneur has its own benefits, particularly; that you don’t have to be a certain age to establish a business. When it comes to earning money, it’s only a decent idea that can jump-start you on the route to becoming a millionaire!
Now, this article won’t be a “get rich quick scheme”. Before you commence your voyage of becoming an entrepreneur, you have to understand that it requires determination and persistence. Without these facets, you will NEVER prosper in your vocation!
If you’re a teenager, or even younger, and want to earn a part-time income, these methods might be a “silver lining” for you.
HERE ARE 6 WAYS KIDS EARN MONEY
If you’ve been on the internet, you’ve probably heard of “freelancers”. If you own a particular skill-set, you can capitalize on it. How? You can promote yourself to prospective clients on freelance marketplaces, such as Fiverr and Upwork, who will hire you for your services, such as writing, or photography.
I’ve observed individuals earn over $10,000 a month from freelancing alone. If you think you’re “good” at something, earn from it!
Online surveys are, without a doubt, the easiest method of earning a part-time income as a kid. You can make anything, from $5 up to $500 per month. What do you have to do? Basically, nothing!
You can register at online survey websites, such as Swagbucks, and respond to some queries for their website, and maybe survey their products. However, you have to implement time into online surveys to earn a significant income.
MOW THE LAWN
It’s miraculous when you can earn money at home, and it’s even better if it involves doing routine errands. You can mow the lawn for a relative or neighbour, and in return, you can ask for payment.
WALK OR PET-SIT DOGS
For dog-owners, dogs are a member of the family – they treat them as a child. Hence, it is they must take care for their dogs! Fortunately, some dog-owners are incapable of doing so if they are occupied.
You can charge these dog-owners for providing the care to the dog and they are unable to – walking and pet-sitting them! You might have to spread flyers around your neighbourhood to endorse your service. I have witnessed individuals charge up to $50 for a half-an-hour walk!
If you consider yourself adept at marketing, this might be the niche for you! You can purchase cast-off products from vendors, amend them, and retail them with a profit. ‘Flipping’, as it’s acknowledged, is an effective method for students to earn a part-time income.
It might seem intimidating at first, particularly if you’re an introvert – as it involves social interaction, however, once you get a gist of it, it becomes a business. Albeit, you can also ‘flip’ products on virtual marketplaces, such as eBay.
BECOME AN INFLUENCER
If you’ve been dynamic on social media for the past decade, you’ve probably heard of ‘influencers’. You can earn money through social media, and become a millionaire! How? If you’re fond of videography, you can grow a YouTube channel; if you’re fond of photography or modelling, you can establish an Instagram portfolio, and that isn’t all!
There are several ways of earning as an ‘influencer’, however, all of them incorporate a decent fan-following – you HAVE to be voguish! I wouldn’t recommend this method to anyone as it isn’t as effective – you might make an obvious revenue, or you might not make anything at all.
Whether you’re a kid or a teenager, you’ll have to hustle for money! I hope this article inspires you to get out there and become an entrepreneur. If you want to earn money yourself, you have to be motivated towards your ambition.
Remember that it is as important to save money as it is to earn it. Don’t take anything for granted, and invest in items that are essential, not excessive!
“Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It’s quite simple, really: Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn’t at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, so go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that’s where you will find success.”
